NJ ARISE’s client base consists of individuals who are:

confined in facilities operated by the New Jersey Department of Corrections/Department of Health and Human Services (including prisons and civil commitment centers); and/or
-
under the control and/or supervision of the State of New Jersey either by virtue of Community Supervision for Life or Parole Supervision for Life (PSL/CSL); and/or
-
required to register under Megan’s Law and/or subject to the requirements of the Adam Walsh Act (community notification, tier assignment and Internet Registry); and/or
-
diagnosed as suffering from any form of mental health illness requiring a focus on treatment and rehabilitation, rather than punitive sanction, with particular attention on those convicted of sexual offenses; and/or
- family members and friends of such individuals.
